A Moment of Quietude
Most care homes have a quiet room where residents can mourn loved ones they have lost, but these rooms often take a narrow view of the subject. Studio Aline Gerards and Studio Hedwich Hooghiemstra designed the quiet room of the future: a place to remember, but also to reflect. I made a short documentary about it, presented at Dutch Design Week.
